Mentor Programme

The management consultancy element of the training sessions with David were by far the most useful to a non-techy like me. It was invaluable to spend some time away from the office to enable some lateral thinking, which was led very creatively by David. The training was of an excellent standard. David structured the course around our specific needs, teaching us how to use this software programme to create and manage a customised database and introducing us to the programme in a methodical and accessible way. His presentation style is lively and engaging, and he has no shortage of patience in explaining some of the more complex function of the programme.

Most importantly, he showed a real interest in energetics and worked with us to think through the structure and processes of our business and our communication with clients as a basis for planning and design of the database. David clearly has an interest in making coherent links between business process and technology to improve efficiency and increase profit. He is an intelligent, inspiring and informed trainer in this respect. As a result we have an administration system and the knowledge to build on it as the business grows.

For a small business, the fee for the training represents a major investment. It was, however, a fraction of the cost of paying a consultant to build and manage a database for us and has allowed us to develop a new asset within the company - the database itself and staff with the knowledge to maintain and develop it. As the manager of a small team, I believe it was a worthwhile investment and I would not hesitate to recommend FM Training to other business people.
